School Hours

La Petite Ecole is provides a quality educational opportunity in French for children ages 3 to 6 (note: a first grade may be opening as early as fall of 2009). 

The school operates from 9am to 12pm and 1 to 4pm daily and is typically in session when the Columbia Public Schools are in session, from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

 

Before and After School Care is available on a limited basis.  Inquire with the director for more details.

Morning Afternoon

9:00 - 9:15 1:00 - 1:15  Arrival—Free play indoor

9:15 - 9:30 1:15 – 1:30  Circle Time

9:30 – 10:15 1:30 - 2:15  Group Activities

    (art, math, language, music, cooking, gymnastics, etc…)

10:15 – 10:30 2:15 - 2:30  Reading—Prepare for Snack

10:30 – 10:45 2:30 - 2:45  Snack Time

10:45 – 11:15 2:45 - 3:15  Free Play—Indoor

11:15 – 11:30 3:15 - 3:30  Individual Learning Time / Story Time / Singing

11:30 – 12:00 3:30 - 4:00  Free Play—Outdoor
