Enrichment Programs

Enrichment programs at LPE are open for enrollment to all in our community, regardless of your enrollment in our academic programs. Depending on our instructor availability, the enrichment programs offered each year may differ.

  • An active class which develops both written an oral skills, while keeping it fun and engaging!

    Meets Thursdays 3:30 - 4:00 PM
    Offered on a semester basis

  • We believe that immersion in another language is a lifelong gift!

    No matter your level of French or your motivation for learning, we are glad to offer French classes for adults on a semester basis.

    Each level meets once a week for 50 minutes for interactive language lessons that will leave you feeling more apt to communicate in a “real” way than ever before.

    Meets weekdays from 5:40 - 6:30 PM

    Monday | Beginners
    Tuesday | Continuing Learners
    Wednesday | Expanding Learners
    Thursday | Mastering Learners

    Only $180 for the semester of 10 classes!

  • We offer 10 weekly classes, Mondays or Saturdays, from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. for an adult and baby (age 9-36 months). Classes begin in February, pending enrollment.

    Tuition is only $$150 for the entire session!

    Together we will begin or expand your French journey with your baby or grand-baby for 45 minutes each week. You will both make new friends, sing songs, learn finger plays, do crafts and engage in fun and creative activities.

  • At Language Club, we enjoy after-school enrichment in French!

    Our time includes…

    • playtime

    • snack time

    • hands-on activities

      & much more, entirely in French!

    Meets daily from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Families may enroll children for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week

    Transportation, when available, may be provided for an additional fee.

    Children who would benefit from Language Club…

    • come from early immersion programs

    • have family members who are native French speakers

    • have come to love the French language through other means

    • enjoy school & learning

    • look forward to making friends outside of their daily school program

Does your family need additional care, such as early morning drop off or after school care?

 

Supplemental Care

We strive to make our programs accessible to all families. We realize many families need additional services to access our programs.

Some families choose for their child to attend La Petite Ecole in the mornings only and need before school. Other families need at school care before or after school.

We provide these additional services during the academic year. These services are provided to students enrolled in daytime programs. Extra fees apply for all of these services. Parents may sign up ahead of time or use these services on a drop-in basis (upon approval). Please note - some services may be unavailable at certain times of the year, or due to circumstances beyond our control. See the Family Handbook in the Family Corner for detailed policies regarding enrollment, drop-in availability, fees, and invoicing.

 
 

  • Students enrolled at La Petite Ecole may arrive as early as 7:30 AM to accommodate families with early-morning obligations.

  • Students enrolled in morning programs may extend their day on a drop-in basis and may stay at school until 1 PM. Ask upon enrollment for updated Emergency Lunch procedures.

  • Available to children enrolled in morning classes who need rest after lunch, typically Toute Petite Section and Petite Section students. Discuss options upon enrollment.

  • All students enrolled at the school, including all preschool and elementary programs, may enroll in After School Care to extend pickup times to 5:30 PM.

    After School Care includes enrichment activities, snack, and extended outdoor recess and indoor free play time.
